I will be moving home next week so busy dealing with organising the new flat and also clearing up the current one. Nightmare especially when you are alone, but with the help of various people and services I am getting there. I will be blogging my moving experience as I did last year (Shelo’s Blog – Moving Apartments) to give you some guidance and inspiration. For now I have found some great tips for moving house from Buzzfeed DIY – 33 Moving Tips. This applies more to people who do not use moving companies, but still some great ideas.   © Read More

I have a lot of jewellery especially earrings (thanks Primark, H&M and Oasis). Using ice cube trays to separate your jewellery is simple and economical. You can get funky trays in IKEA such as these called Plastis (AED 4 /GBP0.95). Bargain!   © 2013 Decluttr Me | All rights reserved – This post is provided for the convenience of Decluttr Me readers. A simple book case can be used in a variety of ways to clear up the clutter in your life; you can put books, trinkets from your travels, picture frames or use boxes such as this one called Lekman to hide your bits and pieces. I use the Lekman boxes to store my collection of Havianas flip flops, bags and other outdoor attire such as baseball caps and scarves. The boxes can also be used to store paper, children’s toys, etc, and will not be fully visible to anyone who comes into the room. Both items can be purchased in Read More

Today I found a great website which provides various ideas on decluttering on the website Modern Parents Messy Kids. This post focuses on decluttering small items especially decluttering the kitchen cupboard underneath the sink. Fixing door hooks inside the cupboard to store kitchen gloves and clothes is a great idea and easy to do.   © 2013 Decluttr Me | All rights reserved – This post is provided for the convenience of Decluttr Me readers.
