Being a corporate lawyer for so many years, there had to be some legalise on this site. This is not exciting, but the following makes clear the terms of the business:

1.              Confidentiality and Privacy
Decluttr Me is a professional service and we will keep our sessions completely private and confidential.  We will ask you during the consultation period if you would be happy for us to take photos of the before and after, but it is entirely your choice. Client details will not be disclosed to any third party, without your written consent.

Any testimonial, comment or photograph provided by you for publicity material is reproduced with your knowledge and consent.

2.              Disclaimer
Decluttr Me will use their reasonable endeavours in providing advice and encouragement in the decluttering and organising process. However, it is your decision whether to keep items or to let them go. Decluttr Me accepts no responsibility for the actions you may take on the basis of that advice, or their consequences, whether this be at any subsequent or future date following engagement or consultation.

Decluttr Me are not valuers of art or other items of special value or rarity, you acknowledge on engaging Decluttr Me that you, as client, accept responsibility for either keeping or letting go of any items.

Decluttr Me handles items with care.  In the case of accidental damage or loss you acknowledge that Decluttr Me will not be held liable for any loss or damage, howsoever caused during the engagement.

3.              Cancellation
It is agreed that if you cancel an appointment giving less than 48 hours notice this may, at the discretion of Decluttr Me, result in a charge for any costs incurred.  The cancellation charge will be 50% of the agreed session value.  At our discretion, we may agree to credit this payment against your account if the work is re-scheduled to start within three months of such cancellation.

4.              Access
If you engage us to work at a particular location and access is restricted, we reserve the right to charge for the lost time and our expenses.

5.              Payment Terms
The charges for our services, purchase of materials and travel costs will be levied at the agreed price following a telephone conversation, email proposal or consultation.

Payment is requested PRIOR to each session for the services, travel costs and products provided. Payment is by bank transfer preferably, or cash in limited circumstances. The bank details are provided in the pro forma invoice.

Some jobs lasting longer than a day may involve further expenses in addition to our service and travel charges. Such further expenses will not be incurred without your prior approval. Examples of such further expenses include, but are not limited to, travel, accommodation and subsistence.

For all services provided, all fees are non-refundable.

6.              Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed in accordance with the laws of Dubai, United Arab Emirates and enforced in accordance the Courts of Dubai.
