As a Professional Home Organiser, you will collaborate with Shelina, the owner of DeCluttr Me, to learn and uphold the DeCluttr Me ethos. You will be involved in every aspect of the process, from initial sorting and decision-making to the implementation of effective storage solutions. Your role is integral to ensuring that each project is completed to the highest standard, creating spaces that not only look good but are also practical and sustainable for our clients.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Client Engagement: Partner with clients to declutter and organise their homes, guiding them to achieve their personal goals and create spaces that enhance their daily lives.

  • Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with other Professional Organisers, contributing to a cohesive team effort on larger projects and ensuring consistent quality across all client interactions.

  • Comprehensive Organising: Take an active role in all aspects of decluttering, organising, and room design, as well as selecting and implementing the most effective storage solutions.

  • Tailored Solutions: Develop customised organising strategies for each client, taking into account their unique needs, including any physical or psycho-social disabilities, empowering them to maintain and enjoy their newly organised spaces, creating lasting results.

  • Hands-On Support: Execute a variety of physical tasks such as lifting, packing, delivering items to charities, and managing rubbish removal to support the overall decluttering process.

  • Relocation Assistance: Offer comprehensive relocation support, including packing, unpacking, and coordinating additional services to ensure a smooth and organised transition for clients.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is naturally organised and enjoys the process of creating order out of chaos. You should be reliable, trustworthy, and have a strong work ethic, with the ability to follow instructions while also thinking independently when needed. Physical fitness is important, as the job often involves lifting, squatting, and spending long hours on your feet. While previous experience in professional organising is not required, a genuine passion for organising is essential. We are looking for individuals who bring enthusiasm and a positive attitude to each project, making the organising process enjoyable for both clients and team members. The ability to support clients through potentially emotional decision-making processes will require empathy and patience.
